Women’s League Child Development Center, Hartford
Join a staff of professional Early Childhood Educators at the NAEYC-accredited Women’s League Child Development Center. We have provided a high quality program to Hartford’s children and families for 98 years. Our beautiful, newly expanded facility in Hartford’s Clay Arsenal neighborhood has 8 School Readiness Preschool classrooms, 8 Toddler Rooms and 1 Infant Rooms and a before and after program.
Assistant Teachers-Preschool and Toddlers: Full-time positions, 35+ hours per week, with generous benefits. Be part of a classroom teaching team, sharing in observation, assessment and curriculum planning. Requirements: Associate Degree in ECE, OR 30 ECE credits+ 3 years teaching experience. Familiarity with Teaching Strategies’ Creative Curriculum and PAF/PCF is a plus. Salary is commensurate with educational level and experience.
Teacher Aide: Full time position, 35+ hours per week. Are you fascinated by the rapid cognitive, physical, social and emotional development? Do you love to sing, rhyme, speak, laugh and read with children? We are looking for an energetic and nurturing candidate. A CDA + 15 ECE. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
Per Diem Subs – We are looking for an energetic, team player that enjoys learning and having fun. Minimum high school diploma.
